Position
Summary:
The Artist Development Coordinator is responsible for supporting the marketing teams and our artist development teams. The Artist Development Coordinator will also be responsible for compiling and distributing assets for the artist development programs and for providing our marketing and buyer teams with the assets, reports, and tracking to support AEG clients.
Essential Functions:
Support the SVP, Directors and Managers within Marketing and Artist Development Teams. Responsible for facilitating communication with all our Global Touring’s Marketing/Artist Development teams. Works on the Artist & Repertoire (A&R) initiative with the tools and opportunities needed by the buyers to sign new talent. Collect, get approvals and distribute assets for artist development programs across the entire business unit of AEG Presents. Conduct market research and bring new ideas, concepts, case-studies to the marketing team. Provide weekly updates on artist development budget for SVP, Directors and Managers. Assist Marketing Directors with in-cycle marketing support and special project execution (i.e. livestreams, pop-ups, listening parties, etc.) by supporting activations needed and tracking details regarding non-traditional marketing opportunities. Required
Qualifications:
BA/BS Degree (4-year) in Marketing or Business Communications Years of related work experience: 2-4 Exceptional written, verbal and listening communication skills Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and the ability to learn the required business systems Knowledge of social media and online marketing initiatives and strategies Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment Must be detail-oriented with a high standard for quality and able to multitask and manage multiple campaigns and projects at once Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build and cultivate relationships Knowledge of music industry preferred AEG reserves the right to change or modify the employee’s job description whether orally or in writing, at any time during the employment relationship.
