ArtMovement LA, in our continued expansion, is in search of experienced art handlers and installers.
ArtMovement is looking to add full-time and part-time employees to our installer roster working between Monday-Friday and occasional OT weekend work.

Required Experience & Skills:
-Knowledge of proper handling of fragile and high-value artworks and objects: packing, loading and securing for safe transport
-Installation experience
-Clean, precise documentation and condition reporting
-Ability to interface with high-end clients
-Time-management skills
-Experience driving a truck in Los Angeles and surrounding area

Basic qualifications:
-Minimum of one year art handling experience or experience in a similar role
-Safe ability to lift and gently place 50 lbs
-Familiarity with paperwork: BOLs, Condition Reports, etc.
-Have a valid driver’s license and clean DMV record
-Demonstrate general knowledge of accepted art handling practices
-Provide your own basic tool kit
-Able to pass a background check and pass a security assessment for TSA purposes
-Pack artwork into a cardboard slipcase, travel frame, and crate

Additional and appreciated experience:
-Five or more years art installation, crating, or transportation experience
-Ability to proficiently drive a 22’ high cube box truck
-Forklift certification
-Experience rigging, hoisting, and working with scaffolding

Pay is competitive and commensurate with experience!

Pay: $20.00
– $30.00 per hour

High school or equivalent (Preferred)
