Apex Systems: Project Control Coordinator

Job SummaryThis position assists Senior Project Managers, Project Managers, and Senior Project Coordinators in managing activities for a portfolio of projects through leading analytical development and/or manufacturing project teams (and other project teams as designated).

This position typically provides internal coordination of project related activities and involves managing the execution of the customer’s requirements as per an agreed upon program of activities.

Comply with divisional and site Environmental Health and Safety requirements.III.

Specific Duties, Activities, and Responsibilities% of time1.

Assists in setting immediate and long-term work plans/strategies for reportinggroups, allocates resources for projects, updates Changepoint forecast, invoicingand maintains metrics for projects2.

Develops, coordinates and tracks contractual specific client and internal projectsthrough the entire project life cycle3.

Coordinate daily project activities, attends daily LSFM board reviews forspecific work groups.4.

Prepare meeting minutes, agendas, and may provide overall coordination ofcustomer visits.

Under supervision of Sr.

PC, Sr PM or PM, hosts customervisits.5.

Consults and advises the project manager and upper management of projectstatus and reports issues that may affect ultimate results.6.

Prepares technical and verbal reports and presentations on project progress.

Collaborate with other groups, activities necessary to ensure projectrequirements are met.8.

Assists the Project Manager to provide accurate technical informationfor the purpose of supporting quotations to customers, acceptance of projects,dissemination of technical packages and logistical information.9.

Supports the Senior Project Coordinator, Senior Project Manager and/or ProjectManager in obtaining information from customers to further expand the base ofinformation following acceptance of a project into Catalent10.

All other duties as assigned.

Job RequirementsEducation and Experience: Bachelors Degree or equivalent in life sciences or related field and 2 years experienceKnowledge, Skills and Abilities: Working knowledge of Excel, Word, and MS Project Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills Familiarity with Six Sigma / Lean / Operational Excellence principles Pharmaceutical manufacturing or development experience preferred Familiarity with Changepoint and/or JD Edwards systems preferred
