If you have a strong background in teaching or tutoring high school students, with expertise in AP US History content and exam strategies, we want to hear from you! Responsibilities: Conduct engaging one-on-one and small group tutoring sessions with high school students preparing for the AP US History exam. Create personalized lesson plans and study schedules tailored to each student’s strengths and weaknesses. Foster critical thinking skills, historical analysis, and effective essay writing techniques. Provide constructive feedback and closely monitor student progress. Utilize various online tools and resources to make tutoring sessions interactive and effective. Maintain open communication with students and parents to track progress and address any concerns. Stay updated with the latest AP US History curriculum and exam formats. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in History, Education, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred). Proven experience in tutoring or teaching, particularly with AP US History. Strong understanding of AP US History content, including key themes and historical events. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students. Familiarity with online tutoring platforms and educational technology. Highly organized and capable of managing multiple students effectively. Reliable internet connection and a quiet, professional space for tutoring sessions.
