Analyst, Operational Technology / Smart Building

About the OpportunityThe Operational Technology/Smart Building Analyst is responsible for supporting, monitoring and maintaining the buildings networks, systems infrastructure, and building generated data.

Separate from the main corporate network, the buildings’ network setup facilitates accessibility without compromising key IT security protocols.

This position reports to the Operational Technology Manager.Opportunity Requirements* Approximately 2 to 5 years of IT/Technical Support Experience* Degree in Business with emphasis on Computer Technology/Information Systems OR in Business/Operations with a strong interest in IT; or equivalent combination of education* Strong interest in Technology, Real Estate, Investment Industries* Experience in network operations and server administration (Active Directory, VPN, Cisco, Palo Alto Networks)* Familiarity with various building systems* Building Automation Systems* Access control* Video management systems* Familiarity with SOX compliance and audit procedures preferred* Willingness and eagerness to learn new skills* Excellent communication skills, customer service, problem solving and analytical skills* Willingness to be a team player and handle a variety of tasks that vary in complexity* Ability to adapt and understand priorities* Self-starter with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks* Must possess and maintain a valid California Driver’s License and be able to provide proof of insurability.

Excellent driving record, ability to operate manual or automatic transmission vehicles.

Must be able to travel* Hands on, practical experience dealing with all levels of an organizationSummary of ResponsibilitiesThe core responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to the following:* Work closely with facilities and building management leads to understand business and technology needs.* Compile and monitor the front-end graphics, analytics data, fault analysis, and building performance data, and utilize different data sets to derive insights into building performance.* Support the overall building SD-WAN Network, connected building systems, and related applications.* Coordinate integration of system/technologies* Respond to and troubleshoot issues as reported* Practice industry adopted network troubleshooting methods that increase security while maintaining transparency to the end users* Review systems policies in conjunction with the facilities management teams* Perform routine audits of systems for coinciding system policiesApply for this PositionTo apply, email HumanResources@kilroyrealty.com.
