Job Description: Guard will be utilizing Physical, ETD, and X-Ray methods to effectively perform the job duties of a Security Screener, you must be able to breakdown freight from pallets/skids to be properly screened and rebuilt when needed, need to be able to lift up to 75kgs.At times you will be called for freighter coverage, positioned at the L1 door or rear, must be very observative following TSA/LAWA protocol for airline coverage.
Be ready to report any suspicious activity to the proper authorities.
All the duties are strictly enforced to ensure compliance with all Transportation Security Regulations (TSR) and Airlines Regulations regarding cargo security physical screening procedures.
Minimum Requirements:Must be at least 18 years of ageMust have a high school diploma, GED or equivalent; OR at least one year offull-time work experience in security work.Must provide 10 years background employment/education informationMust provide proof of the legal right to work in the United StatesPhysical Demands/Working Environment:Must be able to lift and carry up to 75 lbs.Tolerate moderate to loud level of noise in a work environment such as warehouse or tarmacMay be required to work outdoors in various weather conditions such as cold, windy, rainy or heatStand and remain standing for periods of up to 6 hours without sittingDemonstrate daily fitness or obligation without impairment due to illegal drugs, sleep deprivation, medication, or alcoholMay be required to work all of the following: irregular hours and/or shifts, including split-shifts holidays and weekends; overtime; and extended hours.Maintain focus and awareness within an environment containing numerous distractions, people and noise.We are an equal employment opportunity employer.
