Aide, Environmental Svs Deep

Overview

This position is responsible for coordinating and performing routine Deep Cleaning custodial services at various clinic and office locations. As part of the Deep Cleaning crew, staff will perform inspections of routine Environmental Services duties and document observations on daily logs for training and quality purposes that will be assessed by Facilities Supervisor (s)/Manager.

 

 

Responsibilities

  • Access computer to respond to eTime, emails, and Intranet.
  • Strip, wax, and shampoo carpet/rugs and upholstered furniture.
  • Cleans vents, fans, and other office/clinic equipment.
  • May provide training to others.
  • Coordinate work plan with other members of Deep Cleaning crew to ensure completion of assigned work.
  • Maintains equipment and supplies in good working condition.
  • Orders and receives supplies and equipment.
  • Cleans and restocks work and other areas as required by using a variety of cleaning products and methodologies (Sweeps, mops, scrubs, and polishes floors, vacuums office carpets and entrance mats, etc).to insure clean and safe working environments.
  • Reports the need for maintenance and/or repairs of buildings.
  • Corrects or reports any safety or fire hazards.
  • Maintains records and prepares reports of work performed.
  • Adherence to established completion times for assigned work.
  • Performs all other related duties as assigned by Facilities Management and Program Administrators.

    Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
  • Must possess a Class “C” drivers license, car insurance, and with no DMV points (Preferred). Maximum 1 point.
  • Basic computer knowledge required.
  • A minimum of 2 years related experience and/or training preferred.
