ActOne Legal Staffing is currently working with a food distribution company in the heart of Los Angeles with an immediate need for an experienced junior corporate/Associate General Counsel.
Candidates with 2-3 years Food Manufacturing corporate law experience highly preferred.
Our client is immediately seeking to hire a creative, business-minded junior corporate attorney to serve as a key member of the legal team.
With the supervision of the General Counsel, the Associate General Counsel provides in-house legal counsel to the company.
Reviews and comments on inter-company agreements, such as NDAs and service agreements.
Reviews all contracts to be signed by the company.
In this role, you will also advise and interact with marketing, sales, and other business departments; monitor legal department protocols and initiatives; create legal documents with respect to entity formation, maintenance, dissolutions and other corporate actions, which includes drafting general certificates and filing statements of information with the secretary of state.
Strong communication skills and experience operating in a corporate environment or corporate and/or real estate department of a law firm preferred..
