Accounts Receivable Specialist San Francisco, California Contract/Temporary Hi there We are actively looking to add an Accounts Receivable Specialist to our existing accounting team in our San Francisco, CA office We are a well-established international culinary brand and are in need of some help over the course of the next 4-5 months.
Our ideal candidate will have some experience in the accounting field but it’s not necessarily required as we’ll consider recent accounting graduates or those well-versed in data entry (w/strong Excel skills).
This is a contract role (2 months) and the compensation is $25.00-$30.00/hour.
We are currently working in-office (Financial District).

Accurately code and enter individual checks, invoices and deductions.
Utilize Excel spreadsheet and functions for bulk upload and speed coding.
Monitor customers’ changes on payment remittances and take appropriate actions accordingly.
Maintain cash receipts records, in soft and hard copies in an orderly manner and all documents related.
Perform post-entry checks and reconciliations daily & monthly to ensure accuracy.
Manage unauthorized cash discounts taken by customers: request paybacks and keep track of approvals and denials Resolve problems pertaining to the cash receipts and make appropriate adjustments before month end closing Monthly print, prepare, and send AR statements Assist filing customer’s records and moving/organizing the files/folders.
