ABOUT USA Place Called Home is a dynamic, non-profit youth and community center in South Central Los Angeles.
APCH provides educational programs, counseling, mentoring, music, dance and art classes, fitness and health and wellness opportunities.
As youth participate in our programs, they discover interests and talents and develop a better sense of themselves and their place in the world around them.
Our goal is to increase the likelihood that youth will stay in school, pursue higher education, attain viable jobs, and become active community members capable of making positive change in the world in which they live.
Our mission is to serve youth and families directly and the optimal way to do that is in person.
The majority of our positions require employees to work onsite at our facilities.

This individual works independently and is responsible for the daily intervention and follow-through with members, including behavior modification programs when necessary.
In addition they are responsible for the training of all program staff and ensuring agency guidelines for behavioral procedures are enforced by performing the following duties: Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesDirect interventions one-on-one or in small groupsReview and assess IEP reports for all members annuallySupport APCH program staff with behavior management strategiesDevelop and implement protocols for the inclusion of REACH (Respect, Empathy, Accountability, Courage, Hope) pillars in year-round programming/curriculumCreate and maintain behavior records and logs as necessary for individualized programsFacilitate ongoing staff training in behavior modification/management and mandated reportingDevelop reporting protocols and related forms to ensure proper documentation of occurrences of inappropriate and appropriate behaviorTrack behavioral trends within the center; maintain documentation and share data with Evaluation and Outcomes ManagerDevelop individual behavior plans as needed (in cases of extreme or consistent inappropriate behavior)Refer members to appropriate resources as needed (i.E.
