In abiding by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)’s professional and ethical compliance code, we are honest, fair, and supportive to our clients, families, and staff alike, protecting everyone’s interests. •Our directors possess a combined 50 years in the ABA and mental health fields to help support our staff and clients. •Our staff are critical thinkers who take the “analysis” part of their jobs seriously, and they receive frequent supervision and training to foster a collaborative culture. •We truly value a healthy and happy work-life balance Job Duties: •Providing direct behavior intervention services to JBA clients between the ages of 18 months and 22 years old across home, school, and other community settings. •Teaching skills including, but not limited to, communication and language, social skills, self-help skills, motor skills, play and leisure, classroom readiness, etc. •Providing function-based intervention for challenging behavior and teaching more appropriate replacement skills. •Documenting data and progress throughout sessions. •Maintaining active communication with supervisors and other team members. Minimum Qualifications: •High school diploma is required but a bachelor’s degree or proof of enrollment in college courses is preferred. •Experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities preferred. •Registered behavior technician (RBT) certification is preferred. •Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing. •Must have reliable transportation and be willing to drive to clients’ homes, schools, and other community settings. •Must have reliable access to a stable internet connection. •Candidates will be required to pass a Live Scan fingerprinting background check and obtain TB clearance. •Applicants must possess a valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance. •Comfortable with a variable schedule from week to week (session times will vary but will be generally within our operating hours of Monday – Friday 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM). •All applicants must be able to walk, stand, and sit for extended periods of time, as well as run, bend down, move from sitting to standing quickly, and lift up to 50 pounds, in both indoor and outdoor conditions. •Must be able to reliably complete scheduled in-person sessions (as established by agreed upon working availability and client session scheduling) with minimal cancellations. •Ability to comprehend and carry out oral or written instructions of varying complexity. •Ability to comprehend and respond appropriately to oral or written correspondence. •Ability to solve problems involving several variables in familiar and novel situations.
