This will be done through informing strategy and decision support.

The data analyst works closely with researchers to refine the questions, problems and goals.

This position will ensure that the design of informatics systems (from a data perspective) represents these needs and is optimal in order to achieve research goals and outcomes.

The Senior Data and Reporting Analyst will use data mining, statistics, statistical modeling and machine learning to understand relationships and patterns in data.

The insights gathered from this analysis are translated into actionable steps and best practices through decision support systems, dashboard, and reports.

This role will participate in the development of tools to enable visualization and use of this information within researchMinimum Experience:Five or more years of experience of relevant data analytics including data manipulation, data analysis and information systems.

Demonstrated proficiency with information systems, programming skills and data base foundations, preferred.

Experience can include tracking, data analysis, or related development field experience or a combination of institutional development experience is highly desirable, preferably within an academic, medical or major research institution.Required Courses/Training:Req.

Certification/Licensure:Preferred Education:Demonstrated competencies in data analysis, information systems, computer science, database foundationsPreferred Courses/Training:Pref.

Certification/Licensure:Preferred Experience:SQL Server Management Studio, SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), SQL Server Analysis Services, Blackbaud database products (CRM, The Raiser’s Edge), Python, Machine Learning experiences, Algorithm knowledge.Skills/Abilities:Demonstrated ability to work independently, set priorities and complete projects within specified timeframes.Ability to analyze problems, compile data and statistics, and research/troubleshoot problems.Knowledgeable in quantitative analytics and forecasting/predictive analytics.Must be able to work well under the pressure of deadlines, be able to handle several projects simultaneously, and be able to shift priorities as needed.Must have impeccable attention to detailAbility to locate and interpret financial and biographical information from a variety of sourcesAbility to deal with confidential matters with tact and sensitivityExcellent oral and written communication skills for preparation of detailed analytical reports and briefings for use by institution leadership; ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiencesCOMPENSATION:The pay range for this position is between $36.00 and $42.00 per hour depending on experience.Powered by JazzHRuZKpxyT91m
