CompanyOur client is a highly regarded and successful multifamily real estate investment firm based in Los Angeles, California.

In addition to its Fund platform, the firm has a growing 1031 Exchange advisory business and a Qualified Opportunity Zone (QOZ) multifamily development platform as well.

The firm currently has $3.5 billion of assets under management in major markets throughout the Western U.S.

The firm is led by an experienced executive team with combined real estate investment management experience exceeding 100 years and over $10 billion in multifamily transactions.RoleThe firm is seeking a highly motivated, detail‐oriented team player to join as an Analyst on the Capital Markets & Investor Relations team.

The primary responsibilities of the individual will be to support investor onboarding and service; manage the investor CRMsystem; and collect and preparefinancial and market data for analysis, meetings, and marketing initiatives.

The candidate must have strong organizational, interpersonal, quantitative, and analytical skills.

Additionally, the candidate must be able to excel in a fast‐paced environment and meet critical deadlines.

The individual will have the potential opportunity to gain additional capital markets and investor relations responsibilities within the firm over time.ResponsibilitiesPlay a primary role in the subscription/investor‐onboarding process including reviewing marketing materials and agreements, as well as processing subscription documentation and tracking receipt of fundsManage and maintain the CRM database and tracking sheets, ensuring current and consistent investment and investor informationAnalyze financial performance and prepare valuations for investments, and report findings in a clear, concise method to the senior team and investorsAssist in responding to ad hoc investor inquiriesMaintain company marketing materials and aid in the coordination and preparation of information for investor meetingsCollaborate and communicate cross functionally with Accounting, Portfolio Management, Acquisitions and Transactions to prepare internal and external deliverables timelyUtilizing advanced excel knowledge and problem-solving abilities, detail review distribution schedules for completeness and accuracy prior to upload into the CRM system QualificationsBachelor’s degreeMinimum 2 years of investor relations, accounting, real estate, or investment banking experienceAdvanced excel and analytical skillsStrong interpersonal, written communication, oral communication, and finance skillsAbility to craft effective communications to private investors.Strong understanding of real estate underwriting and capital stack contribution to value.Ability to quickly understand, connect and communicate with investors.Ability to prioritize and work on multiple projects at one time, strong project management skills, results‐ driven, and adaptable with an aptitude to meet deadlinesHard working collaborative team player with a positive attitudeProficient in Microsoft Office, particularly ExcelAbility to understand, manipulate and communicate waterfall modelsCapacity to logically manage large files to draw insight and actionable conclusionsStrong critical thinking skills; ability to assess and rationally challenge financial models and conclusions
