If you are interested in this Surgical Reprocessing Technician position, please contact James Demaria at 586-473-6099 or jdemariaalinestaffing.com Surgical Reprocessing Technician Compensation The pay for this position is $28.00 per hour Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates Surgical Reprocessing Technician Highlights This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs Shift Hours: Midnights – 11pm – 7:30am M-F (can be flexible and do 4/10s 9pm-7:30am M-T) Surgical Reprocessing Technician Responsibilities Wrapping instruments preparing them to be sterilized, picking case carts, decontamination, prepping packing, delivering case carts, answering phones having customer service skills, will be working alongside 2-4 other people.
Under general supervision of the Coordinator/Manager / Director cleans, inspects, assembles, packages disinfects / sterilizes all surgical products used to support physicians and surgical team in the inpatient, outpatient departments, Operating room, Emergency Room, Delivery Room and satellites.
Documents and monitors all sterilization processes in assigned areas including but not limited to: steam, ETOH, Sterrad and high-level disinfectants.
Surgical Reprocessing Technician Requirements High School Diploma or GED Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days Computer proficiency in Windows-based applications 1 years experience Certified as hspa, cbspd CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES REQUIRED:
