Reporting to the Director, Service Operations, you will be required to work independently or as part of a team based on customer/contract requirements.Your responsibilitiesTroubleshooting electronic, electrical and mechanical subsystems.Perform sensor collection and correlation with paper mill labs.Knowledge of various paper processes to assist in the increase of paper quality.This position will be focused on the ABB Quality Control System product lines including the ABB 800xA and legacy systems.A good working knowledge of Windows and Microsoft products will be a plus.This person needs to be self motivated and self directed to accommodate numerous and various customer requests.Good communication skills are a must.Technical skills will be considered the foundation of this position to deliver contract services.Additional skills include delivery of sales support and seek out opportunities for revenue growth.Your backgroundAssociates degree in Electrical, Chemical or Computer Science or related field or a special combination of education and experience would be considered.8 years of experience working with Quality Control System (QCS) system maintenance and Process Control.This person will develop a good working knowledge of multiple ABB QCS systems and customer satisfaction skills and some advance skills such as networking.Our engineers develop excellent troubleshooting skills to resolve equipment issues.Travel up to 70% may be required.Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.BenefitsRetirement planLife insuranceDisability insuranceMedical insuranceWellbeing programMore about usProcess Industries division delivers complete electrification and automation solutions, industry-specific products and lifecycle services across industries.
