Plumber Installer

Description: Installation/Fabrication Technician The Installation/Fabrication Technician position is responsible for assisting in the day-to-day operations with fabrication of piping, installation and commissioning of the systems at the customers site.

Scope of work: To ride along a senior Technician Drive a route to install and or maintain water purification systems Installations of the systems Assisting with troubleshooting and repairing any on site systems Diagnose errors or technical problems and determine proper solutions Produce timely and detailed reports Document processes Follow all companys filed procedures and protocols Cooperate with technical team and share information across the organization Build positive relationships with customers Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: Assists with installation and commissioning each system at the customers site Conducts shop fabrication with a focus on piping Troubleshoots complex systems issues in the field, in addition to softener systems Tests pumps for quality and accuracy Fuses plastic and metal connections through heat source and solvent weld Anchors the skid with precision based on the P&ID and layout and seismic document details Coordinates the completion of the system with other team leads and management Provides SME support to customer and management Assists the regen technician with regeneration of service exchange tanks Utilizes basic hand tools and power tools Assists in other departments as requested Skills: mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting, installation, pipe fitting, electrical, plumbing, pipe bending, hand and power tools, fabrication Top Skills Details: mechanical aptitude,troubleshooting,installation,pipe fitting,electrical Additional Skills & Qualifications: Must haves: mechanical/electrical inclined Previous Field experience is preferred.

Ability to troubleshoot and repair systems is preferred The qualified candidate must have: High School Diploma/GED and/or Trade/Technical School Certification with 1 to 3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination.

Requires active drivers license.

English literacy Knowledge and ability to utilize basic hand tools and power tools.

Some chemical handling experience Candidates that do well comes from a plumbing, HVAC or electrical experience.

Where they have experience working with customers and installing.
