McIlvain Motors is a small, fun laid-back shop. We cater to Porsche enthusiasts with daily drivers to full time track vehicles.
We are currently seeking a Porsche Technician/Mechanic to become an integral part of our team! You will diagnose, adjust, repair, and overhaul late model Porsche vehicles and some air-cooled.
Salary: $35 to $48 per hour
Hours are typically from 6 AM to 1:00 PM with ½ hour break.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair late model Porsche vehicles
- Perform routine vehicle tune-ups and maintenance including oil/filter service and brake service
- Provide labor and time estimates for automotive repairs
- Inspect and test new vehicles for necessary adjustments
- Perform upgrades/performance enhancing modifications
- Complete pre-purchase inspections
- Advise customers of upcoming service needs
- Keep working area in a clean, safe manner
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Porsche technician a must
- Knowledge of diagnostic and repair equipment
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Deadline and detail-oriented
- Must supply own tools
- Track experience a plus
- Knowledge/experience with VW and Audi a plus
