RESPONSIBILITIES: Diagnose and repair malfunctioning brakes, steering and suspension systems, etc.
Continue to develop trade skills and attend professional development training Perform HVAC overhauls and rebuilds of engines and transmissions Repair hydraulic pumps, transmissions, gear boxes, etc.
Perform road calls Engage in preventative maintenance Adhere to all safety regulations Inspect equipment and uncover malfunctions Repair a variety of heavy-duty equipment Other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma or GED Required Must be 23 years or older Must obtain commercial license within a year Experience with DOT inspections desired 7 years’ experience with heavy-duty equipment repair Ability to diagnose and repair electrical units, air and brakes, PM’ s, etc.
Ability to work weekends, holidays, etc.
