AMAROK (formerly known as Electric Guard Dog) is seeking a Field Service Technician to join our rapidly growing team. Field Service Technicians are responsible for preventative and repair maintenance, new technology installations/upgrades and providing top-notch customer service to our clients. Successful candidates will be energetic, self-motivated “ROAD WARRIOR” with previous experience or backgrounds in HVAC, cable/digital TV, alarms, telecom, a variety of skilled labor positions and as a cell phone tower technician.
Travel Requirement
- This position will require the Field Service Technician to travel Monday through Friday (leave Monday, come home Friday). AMAROK Field Service Techs will cover a 500-mile radius.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide preventative maintenance, repair services, installations, upgrades and in-servicing at customer accounts in accordance with established standard operating procedures and techniques
- Build and maintain professional relationships with customers
- Operate company vehicle safely. Obey all local and federal traffic laws
- Manage inventory daily and ensure reports are completed accurately and submitted within required deadline
- Organize daily workload to ensure jobs are completed within the time quoted to the customer without sacrificing service quality
Qualifications
- Ability to travel overnight Monday thru Friday each week. (Leave on Monday and come home on Friday)
- 2 years of field service experience
- OSHA certification and/or OSHA compliance knowledge
- General knowledge of Windows, iOS, and MS office.
- Self-motivated with good work ethic and the ability to work independently
- Basic math skills
- Physically fit Ability to maneuver a 100-pound fence post into position and climb a ladder up to 30-feet
