Experienced Specialist Plumber

Our fast-growing property management company is looking for a experienced Specialist Plumber in the following areas: Los Angeles & Orange County.Responsibilities & Duties:• Responsible for unsupervised, timely completion of occupied apartment service requests following predefined company processes and property standards• Complete assigned Work Orders per company processes.• Follow all applicable safety rules and regulations• Participate in preventive maintenance programs and on-going maintenance and repair of all mechanical systems of the properties, to preserve and maintain the asset.• Must be able to perform administrative support duties for maintenance-related activities, such as well as completing and submitting Maintenance Checklists and completed work orders./• Must have and maintain a professional appearance at all times• Please email your resume to this posting and include all types of repairs you can perform, along with past employment information and any trade certifications.Qualifications & Experience:• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a maintenance technician working in apartment communities or similar.• Ability to operate various hand and power tools• High School Diploma or general education degree (GED)• Ability to follow detailed oral/written instructions in English• Expert ability to read, write and speak in English• Ability to operate a motor vehicle• Must own a well-maintained vehicle to drive to multiple job sites during a normal workday.• Must possess a valid driver’s license• Must own a standard set of tools to perform general repairs• Ability to walk, stand, and kneel for prolonged periods and climb laddersAdditional Skills:Must have working knowledge in general residential maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting. Including but not limited to:• Appliances (installation, repairs, and replacing)• Minor Exterior Building Repairs (roofs, siding, stucco, etc)• Carpentry (a huge plus but not required)• Minor Cement/Concrete Work• Minor wall heater (installation and repairs)• Shower Enclosure Installations• Sub-Floor Repair/Replacement• Experience installing and repairing ceramic tile• Window Repair & Glass Replacement• Minor electrical repairs and fixture installations• Drywall repair and prept• Plumbing (water heater repairs and replacing, shower stems and valves, slab leaks, gas leaks, etc)• Must have knowledge of using video conferencing and Work Order apps on a smartphone and as well as solid computer knowledge.• This is a roving maintenance position – you must be willing and prepared to drive from property to property in different citiesTrade Certifications:• Plumbing, Electrical, and/or HVAC certifications (current & active) = MAJOR PLUS.
