Equivalent Experience Description: The principle focus of this position is to blend and test products to determine their suitability for further development and launch.
The results of these analyses are to support the release of existing and/or new products to customers.
Responsibilities: Laboratory testing of manufactured products against quality control specifications, advising production of corrective additions as necessary, to ensure products released for filling conform to the agreed Sales Specification and are of consistent, high quality.
Laboratory testing of filling point samples of manufactured products against quality control specifications to ensure products released for filling and dispatch to customers conform to the agreed Sales Specification and are of consistent, high quality.
Laboratory testing of stock transfers.
Laboratory testing of samples provided by customers of stock held by them to provide information to Sales Team so that advice on using the stock can be offered.
Work with operations management to develop production adjustments for products that are not on specification.
Perform this work as needed to maintain the continuity of plant operations.
Accurate reporting of laboratory test results for products to generate completed Certificates of Analysis for Product Dispatch personnel to issue with product delivery paperwork.
Record and maintain accurate and complete records of test results, calculations and data in accordance with ISO 9001 procedures and Quality Assurance System.
Storage and management of both manufactured product and raw material retain samples in accordance with ISO 9001 procedures and Laboratory Quality Assurance System Identify manufactured product and raw material specification anomalies to Supervisor for corrective actions.
Qualifications: Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry Experience performing testing in lab (school OR professional experience) Microsoft Office About Actalent: Actalent connects passion with purpose.
