VP of Marketing

Job Description:

My client is s a Point of Sale (POS) technology company transforming how sports, entertainment, education and professional service industries manage and process customer transactions at scale.

Right now they are expanding and looking to bring on a VP of Marketing in Los Angeles, CA.

This person will be selling the company ‘s products and services to current and potential customers within a national territory.

Ideal candidates should have the following:

  • Manage a team of Marketing professionals, contractors, and agencies, and oversee headcount and staffing decisions
  • Manage the marketing budget including demand generation programs, departmental expenses, staff, and sponsorships
  • Oversee demand generation strategy to attract qualified prospect, including setting the campaign calendar and determining promotional channels and investments
  • Manage content production to support demand generation programs and other needs, including setting the editorial calendar and overseeing production of blogs, press releases, webinars and speaking sessions, brochures, videos, whitepapers, and other marketing collateral
  • Managing event and tradeshow strategy and ensuring high quality representation
  • Coordinate with Sales on presentations to prospects and assist in slide and marketing collateral production
  • Manage the website, keeping content and design up-to-date, and improving performance in attracting and converting qualified prospects
  • Coordinate with the Customer Success and Product teams on client marketing, including producing client newsletters, supporting product updates and new releases, and assisting with material for new products and features
  • Coordinating with BDRs and Sales on campaign activity, account targeting, and follow up on leads produced by Marketing
  • Coordinate with Sales on announcement of new customers, production of customer case studies, and client advocacy
  • Coordinate with the Partner team on partner marketing, including announcing new partners and joint marketing initiatives
  • Monitor performance and report results, keeping senior management informed of activity, plans and adjustments, and market trends

Base: $190K-$230K
Plus Bonus
