Primary Role and Responsibility:

The Vice President of Marketing will be dynamic and a driver of innovative fresh ideas, and creativity.

This individual needs to be well equipped in the art and science of marketing strategy and have the capability to deliver campaigns across a wide diverse range of media platforms and brands. 

The Vice President of Marketing must have the articulation to present their concepts, the discipline to lead a department, projects and teams, no matter the size, from vision to execution by using a dive in/hands-on approach.
The Vice President of Marketing will lead and manage the development and spearhead the execution of all marketing strategy and deliverables, including: Brand narrative linked to corporate and product marketing initiatives Website management and optimization Marketing, brand and re-brand initiatives (e.g., sales tools, email campaigns, lead generation programs, media outreach, trade show design/implementation) Marketing budgets and invoicing Leads a team and a coordinated brand and go-to-market strategy on all initiatives to achieve maximum success out of the gate – ensuring that marketing, content, product, partnerships, activations, and PR are all synced up seamlessly to new product launches Partners with sales, builds detailed and encompassing product launch kits and delivers innovative and complete sales and marketing collateral to ensure product revenue scales Builds and manages comprehensive marketing and sales support strategies for our sales channel partners Oversees the day-to-day execution of strategy and go-to-market efforts around brand campaigns, product, and feature launches.

In this capacity, you will ensure the flawless implementation of a holistic marketing plan across all parts of the business Manages all cross-functional communication and helps optimize workflow where necessary to ensure the larger team can deliver at speed, scale and quality Drives analytical rigor and consistently finds creative ways to uncover untapped opportunities, drive insights, optimize initiatives, and inform future strategy/process changes This role includes developing target audience prioritization, positioning and messaging, go-to-market strategies, and demand gens plans.

Required Skills/Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree and 10 years of marketing and marketing strategy experience and at least 8 years of experience building and managing a marketing staff, working in a technology-focused company/media platform Executed successful and fully integrated product/feature launches Thrives in fast-paced environments, and you easily toggle between the big picture and the nitty gritty and back Demonstrated fluency in working with Product, Marketing, Creative, Sales, Channel Partners and Management to execute innovative and successful, branding campaigns, marketing plans and product launches Showcase a successful history of innovative marketing strategy and performance marketing, thought and people leadership and executional excellence Master communicator with superior written, verbal, and listening skills An astute researcher – you know your market, customers and competition better than anyone, and you integrate this information into your strategies Talented storyteller: You can craft compelling narratives across different channels, and you know how to match the message to the medium Possess a strong drive for results, with the ability to manage independently and take calculated risks Decisive, action-oriented, and able to motivate, inspire, and lead cross teams to leverage resources effectively Shows a strong attention to detail, excellent organization skills, and ability to manage multiple projects and responsibilities on-time (and without the need for outside prompting) The ideal candidate is both creative and analytical, with an innate ability to problem-solve and move at a rapid pace
