Trade & Hospitality Marketing Specialist – Saatchi Art

We are looking for a Trade & Hospitality Marketing Specialist to develop, implement, track, and optimize marketing campaigns that enhance brand awareness, generate new leads, and nurture existing client relationships for Saatchi Art’s trade and hospitality services businesses. You are a strategic go-getter, who can take big ideas through to creative execution efficiently and effectively, with a solid background in trade marketing. From devising in-person events to nurture prospects to implementing a compelling content marketing strategy, be ready to “think big” while managing the details in order to extend the reach of our online gallery to designers, trade associates, corporations, and institutions clientele.

You’ll Report to: Marketing Director

A typical day as Trade & Hospitality Marketing Specialist might include:

  • Events Marketing (20%)
      • Develop and implement an event marketing strategy including virtual and in-person events for prospects and current clients.
      • Manage creation of trade show presence and related materials
  • Content Marketing and PR (20%)
    • Develop and manage a trade blog and other content marketing efforts to provide industry insights, trends, project case studies, and other branded content in support of prospecting, lead nurturing, awareness, social engagement, and thought leadership.
    • Manage the documentation process of high visibility projects from initial production to final photography for use in content marketing and PR campaigns
    • Work with PR colleagues to drive earned media and facilitate Saatchi Art features in print and digital publications.
    • Email Marketing (15%)
    • Develop and manage a strategic email marketing program and email lead activation including newsletters and automated journeys to help grow subscribers, nurture leads, and encourage loyalty
    • Social Media (15%)
        • Develop and implement social media strategy including hospitality features on Saatchi Art’s main channels, as well as exploring sub-branded profiles dedicated to Trade content.
  • Prospecting, Lead Generation, and Direct Mail (15%)
    • Manage paid prospecting and lead generation campaigns including paid social, list buys, and more, working closely with performance marketing colleagues.
    • Manage the creation of direct mail pieces as needed, working closely with performance marketing colleagues.
    • Partnerships (5%)
        • Develop strategic partnerships to extend program reach and awareness
  • Manage hospitality marketing and event budget (10%)
  • You’ll be successful if you are strategic, organized, and a full-funnel marketer with B:B experience. You are personable, interested in art, and want to contribute to Saatchi Art’s growth and success. You want to roll up your sleeves and take advantage of the opportunity to work at a fast-paced ecommerce company.

    What You Have

    • 5+ years of related experience
    • Strategic thinker with experience building and executing integrated marketing campaigns, with an emphasis on digital channels.
    • Strong copywriting skills. You’re comfortable tackling social media posts, drafting and line-editing articles, crafting email copy––and everything in between.
    • A growth hacker mindset—you’ll constantly be thinking about increasing results, aim to understand the impact of a change if it is successful, and will get excited when a test yields growth!
    • Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills, and accountable for work every step of the way
    • A genuine appreciation for art and design. You are tuned into contemporary home decor, design, art, and pop culture.
    • A stickler for the details— you have exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and self-manage against tight timelines
    • Comfortable working as part of a team and on your own.
    • Previous experience working in B:B marketing at an e-commerce business or art consultancy a plus
    • A pleasant and supportive demeanor
    • Not afraid to wear multiple hats—no job being too small or too large.
