Social Media Marketing Specialist

nnCurtCo Media, a new podcast network, is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Social Media Specialist.

The Social Media Specialist lives and breathes all things digital, has an aesthetic eye, understands how to build channels, engage followers, and create a community.

A passion for podcasts is a bonus.nn nn n nn nnWe are looking for a smart, talented, aggressive candidate who will expand our horizons, build both our audiences and brand reputation for a variety of different shows, touching on a multitude of subject matter.nn nn n nn nnThe successful candidate will be an excellent communicator, a versatile creative writer, and a team player.

You will be an active participant in supporting and growing the network’s social channels and sponsorship opportunities.nn nn n nn nnThe successful candidate must be able to work on deadline, with flexible hours, and assist with episode coverage and marketing efforts across our network of shows.nn nn n nn nn Please submit a resume and portfolio (include all social media accounts) for consideration to nn nn  nn nn Social Media Specialist Responsibilities: nn nn n nn Hands-on development of daily social media content (including paid campaigns), scheduling, and strategy for the network and its shows.

Includes multiple accounts on all major platforms.

Work collaboratively to improve engagement and support audience development and sponsorship efforts Communicate with social media followers, including responding to queries in a timely manner.

Use analytical tools such as Google Analytics, Hootsuite Pro, and Facebook Insights to monitor, evaluate, and improve the company’s social media presence and performance.

Develop and execute plans to boost, adjust, and optimize the social media marketing strategy to build the network’s brand, support show communities, and grow podcast listenership.

Collect follower data and analyses interactions and visits, plus uses this information to create comprehensive reports and improve future marketing strategies and campaigns Uncover new opportunities and willingness to test innovative campaign strategies nn n nn nn Social Media Specialist Requirements: nn nn n nn Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, marketing, or a related field.

3 or more years of social media experience including planning and managing content in a corporate, or agency setting.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills and must have a thorough understanding of social media management and strategy.

Experience using various analytics software (Hootsuite Pro, Facebook Analytics, Google Analytics) Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.

Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

Experience and knowledge of creating in Canva Basic Photoshop and video editing skills Proven ability to grow a loyal following on social media Experience finding, joining and influencing affinity groups
– by category, industry, interests and activity.

Wix Website building knowledge and experience with Mail Chimp email campaigns is a plus
