About the Role:

The Social Media Marketing Associate is a key member of the Marketing team whose focus is on growing our social media presence through community conversations, content and storytelling.

As the Social Media Marketing Associate, you will assist with the execution of projects and campaigns across our digital and social channels.

The candidate will be well-versed in social media marketing, have strong attention to detail, and be comfortable in a fast-paced creative environment.

This role reports directly to the Content Marketing Manager.

What you’ll do:

Social Media & Community

Engage with the Avaline community across social platforms, driving product education, brand love and account growth Support the social team in the development, approval, and publishing of social editorial calendar content Ensure that all posts and stories are published correctly and on time Use the latest social platform products and features as part of social content plans Act as the voice of the brand in social-engaging with and reaching into the Avaline community on social media to build affinity, following, engagement, and social sentiment.

Ensure that all responses to followers are done in the appropriate tone of voice across all social channels, flagging spam, monitoring engagement, and tracking performance Work in partnership with Marketing Coordinator to ensure that all community questions are responded to in a timely manner Support the marketing team across pitches and executions of social projects and campaigns.

Identify and research emerging social networks.

Stay abreast of social and creative content trends

Content

Support Content Marketing Manager in working with various content creators including photographers, influencers, chefs, wine experts, copywriters.

Tasks include outreach, scheduling, work agreements, product/prop fulfillment needs, asset delivery management, invoicing/billing, etc.

Manage and own social media content library, including photos, videos & recipes, on Avaline marketing server QAing content in Dash Hudson (feed), Projector (stories) and Shopify (blog) making sure creative is at spec Create social content and contribute to creative briefs Stay up to date on social trends and work alongside Influencer team to execute IGC (influencer generated content)

Reporting & Analytics

Execute tracking and reporting of weekly, monthly and quarterly social media reports (owned & competitive), identifying gaps and opportunities for growth Execute tracking and measurement of campaigns Monitor social media and the broader digital landscape for key cultural moments and current trends and identify ways for the marketing team to leverage these topics of interest Monitor and learn from best in class brands and creators in the social space, applying these learnings to the Avaline brand Report key cultural moments to the broader marketing team and participate in the brainstorming and ideation of social content for marketing campaigns

What you’ll bring:
2 years of experience Location: Los Angeles Proficient in social media platforms
– Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest Proficient computer skills (Google Suite, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint) General knowledge of influencer marketing best practices and interest in learning more Passion for building relationships with community members Energetic self-starter Independent worker Able to work in a fast-paced, start-up environment Exceptional planning and organization skills with an ability to multitask & work independently Excellent verbal and written communication skills Must have reliable form of transportation
