Job Summary This position is responsible for growing Amorepacific brand sales and awareness in the US, developing and implementing strategic marketing plans across distribution channels (Department Stores, Amazon, ecom).
The role oversees 360 integrated marketing campaigns, Budget & Portfolio management, VMD, advertising & promotion development.
Partner closely with all internal stakeholders (Sales, Demand Planning, Finance, Strategy, Digital, PR, R&I, Social Media, Creative, Operations) to ensure advanced planning and timely operational execution.
Collaborate with external HQ teams and Retailer Teams to align on 22 to 24 plans and develop to timelines.
Manage one direct report.
Principal Accountabilities
– Marketing Manager Lead long term and short term brand strategy development and annual sales plan to meet company objectives, in partnership with Marketing Senior Director.
Develop and execute annual and seasonal marketing calendar in partnership with cross functional teams including product launches, promotional activities, sampling initiatives, events and advertisements Lead development of 360 marketing campaigns in partnership with cross functional teams and agencies, ensure strategic advanced planning, timely operational execution and post analysis with key learning / best practice sharing.
Closely work with Korea based HQ team to develop/localize brand story and secure all products, collaterals, assets, and marketing initiatives in line with brand identity Manage brand portfolio and propose product SKUs in & out plans by channels based on local market and consumer insights Develop new products with Global Marketing and ensue timeline of newness launch Analyze and interpret sales data by channel to guide or recommend strategy Monitor star product sales and effectiveness of marketing, promotional, merchandising strategies Control, manage and track budget for key promotional programs to ensure achievement of marketing objectives Plan, present and manage timeline of seasonal in-store/online promotions for all channels Manage and prepare market meeting decks and go-to-market strategy for all channels Lead annual sampling strategy, forecast, budget and manage allocations with retailer Manage one direct report for VMD, event, marketing collaterals development Partner with Luxury Senior Director on budget planning allocation and reconciliation Qualification and Experience 5 years experience in marketing in Beauty industry / skincare experience preferred Substantial experience with key US beauty retailers (Department stores or Amazon) Experience in all aspects of developing and maintaining marketing strategies to meet company objectives Good knowledge of advertising, promotion and digital marketing BA or higher degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or equivalent experience required Skill Sets Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills Strong analytical skills Excellent multitasking and project management skills Excellent organizational skills and work ethic Personal Attributes Able to work under pressure & tight schedule Adapt to changes & environment quickly and be a team player Effective problem solver and able to work independently/ be a self-Starter Strives for excellence in execution Company Benefits Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance HSA Employer Contributions and FSA Options 401k Participation with company matching.
