Up and Away, an established Americana- (and Canadian-themed) children’s and adult outerwear company located in the Fashion District of Los Angeles, seeks an energetic and outgoing individual to assist in all aspects of the business. This job provides exposure to many facets of a small and growing international apparel brand, and allows the selected candidate to make an impact in areas he or she might not be able to at larger fashion companies. Duties include: New business development Corporate sales, both domestically and internationally Custom order and private label pitches Daily wholesale and retail order confirmation, order fulfillment and shipping Maintain and restock inventory Update and edit copy and images on sales sites Maximize search engine optimization Analyze advertising spend and ROI Social media coordination and postings Research product placement, influencer opportunities, etc. Revisions of corporate web sites via Word Press Receiving inventory shipments New style creative input Interfacing with outside vendors Manage priorities, workflow and multiple projects Administrative assistance Customer service Candidates should be extremely detail-oriented, a self-starter, energetic and outgoing. The salary range is between $40,000 – $55,000 depending on experience and skillset. Benefits include two weeks paid vacation, sick days and paid holidays. This is a full-time and permanent position.
