Product Marketing Intern

The Position

As a Product Marketing Intern, you will be joining our international marketing team, based in Santa Monica, CA reporting to the VP of Product Marketing. In this position you will work closely with Product Marketers, Product Managers, commercial teams and other functions across our wider team on projects for the business across our Connexity merchant and publisher offerings. As part of an international team, you will collaborate with marketers in many countries and with multiple backgrounds and experiences.

Your Role In the Team

As this is an internship, we don’t expect you to know it all. In fact, we want to help you learn and give you the opportunity to put what you know into practice. As part of your internship, you’ll be working on – and be responsible for – projects that include:

Product Go-to-Market Analysis – Succinctly communicating customer benefits is an important part of bringing new products to market. You’ll work with x-functional teams on product readiness and to develop a rich understanding of product value to feed training and communication plans.

Performance Story Development – In a busy marketplace full of choices, helping customers understand campaign performance is key to continue growing our business. You’ll analyze performance data to develop performance stories for customer reports, case studies, etc.  

Communications – Communicating about Connexity helps our business grow. You will develop and create presentations, sales collateral and posts working with others across the marketing team in coordinated efforts to showcase the value we deliver to our customers.

Business Intelligence – Keeping on top of market trends and competitor insights has never been more important. You’ll be monitoring and reporting on what’s happening in the industry and sharing key information that will feed into communication and training plans across the company.

And many more exciting things (product launches, new openings, market presentations…) where you will work closely with the Product Marketing and Marketing & Communications teams across the globe to contribute to the company’s growth.

What We Want You to Get From the Internship

Requirements

Passionate about marketing and eager to learn from a supportive team dedicated to honing your skills

Currently enrolled in studies or recently graduated

Ideally proficient in writing with some experience in copywriting

Possesses a keen eye for detail, ensuring accuracy in tasks

Demonstrates excellent time management and communication abilities

Shows interest in ecommerce and the media industry, a plus

Available for a minimum of 6 months, with flexible scheduling to accommodate academic commitments

Eligible to work in the US without sponsorship during the internship period

Able to commit to 20 hours per week for the duration of the internship

The payrate for this position is $25/hr.

Position is hybrid 1 day/week in our Santa Monica office.
