We are a Los Angeles-based production company looking for an experienced podcast marketing expert to help develop and grow a blossoming new facet of our company.
We are looking for someone that can oversee multiple backend aspects of our podcasts, including developing and managing promotional strategies, assessing analytics, and facilitating monetization opportunities.
The ideal candidate is someone who demonstrates a genuine passion for the podcasting market and can both creatively and methodically contribute to the progression of our podcasting ventures.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Collaborate with producers to optimize titles, descriptions, tags, and media formats
Work with production team and podcasters to develop key marketing opportunities and strategies
Oversee and maintain the voice, aesthetic, and overall brand of podcast identities online
Track and report content performance
Manage online ad campaigns and promotions
Organize and maintain content calendars and databases
Schedule and upload media to various social platforms via Later
Distribute content to podcasters, guests, and others as needed
Generate newsletters and maintain mailing lists
Identify new monetization opportunities
Grow audiences and capitalize on engagement opportunities
Keep up-to-date on the general landscape of podcast marketing trends
QUALIFICATIONS
Familiar with Megaphone or similar podcast distribution hosts
Previous experience with Apple Podcasts Connect and Spotify for Podcasters
Strong understanding of podcast and streaming audio markets.
You’re always scanning top charts and have your finger on the pulse of online trends.
Understanding of various social media platforms, back-end analytics, and ad management tools (Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, etc)
Exceptional organizational skills

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Self-motivated and takes initiative to follow through on tasks
Has a passion to improve internal systems, processes, and workflows
