Marketing Specialist (Garden Grove)

What we need:

Cetera Financial Group is currently seeking an individual to execute and manage data-driven strategic marketing programs to ensure profitability and growth across the enterprise. This role will be responsible for building and enhancing programs, tools and resources to generate leads, improve client experience, and increase retention. This is a remote/work from home position that must be located around the San Diego area. Responsibilities include:

Support the Marketing Executive in establishing and evaluating the recruiting marketing strategy and plan, campaign execution, measuring performance and iterating plan, as necessary, to meet goals for both enterprise recruiting and advisor-to-advisor recruiting.

Communicate campaign deliverables, objectives and timelines to cross-functional teams, business stakeholders, etc., while providing instructions for promotion or use.

Utilize email service system (Marketo) for daily operation of direct and digital campaigns including audience creation, campaign set-up, testing and reporting.

Provide recommendations for segmentation; develop test strategy recommendations including subject lines, personalized content, creative layout, offer testing, etc.

Independently prioritize and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes and in accordance with business needs to ensure campaigns are executed in a timely manner

Understand direct mail, email, and digital best practices, utilize these in day-to-day campaign management and bring new solutions and ideas to the team.

Work hand in hand with assigned marketing manager and business stakeholder to ensure all campaigns are delivering on strategy and executed flawlessly.

Work with marketing manager to qualify responses, prioritize leads, segment audiences, etc., as needed, for various marketing lead gen programs. Maintain weekly tracking / reporting document.

Work closely with cross-functional teams, assigned business owners and other functions across the enterprise, as needed or requested by marketing manager.

Manage and/or liaise with key digital media partners, trade publications and other agencies, as needed or requested.

Manage lead gen program processes to include development of advisor-facing collateral and support compliance approval process. Maintain tracking / reporting document, as needed.

Prepare and deliver presentations, trainings, and platform demos to various audiences, as needed.

Develop sales enablement content for Business Develop Marketing Team to include email, social media templates, competitive intel, etc. Support content uploads into platform and auditing as necessary to ensure an optimized experience for all users. Manage commissions process and reporting.

Independently prioritize and accomplish multiple tasks in accordance with business needs to ensure timely execution.

Other Duties and Responsibilities

Supporting the efforts of the marketing team to carry out marketing campaigns.

Rollout, transition, or migration to new tech solutions.

Become a power user in email service platform (Marketo) and/or other tools and tech (Salesforce). Bring new tools and suggestions to improve efficiencies.

Campaign Set-up: manage execution of personalized one time, ongoing, and triggered direct and digital marketing campaigns including email and landing page build for media partners.

Quality Assurance and Testing: responsible for the accuracy of campaigns including link testing, list counts, email client rendering, trigger campaign monitoring, etc.

Campaign Proofing & Approvals: send campaign proofs to stakeholders and update campaigns with appropriate feedback. Coordinate with printer for direct mail campaigns.

Reporting: provide ongoing and ad hoc reporting on campaign performance.

Administrative Support: manage a shared marketing calendar, campaign tracking sheet, and other status documents, as needed.

Best Practices: stays up to date on the latest best practices in direct and digital campaign management, becomes a power user in campaign management tool and brings new ideas and suggestions for process improvement.

Qualifications

Requirements:

A four-year college degree in Marketing and/or Business or the equivalent combination of education and 3+ years of experience required.

An understanding of 1:1 and broad digital marketing tactics, tools, channels and processes.

Understanding of digital landscape and best practices, including email, social media, SEO, and website.

Proven ability to multi-task while maintaining a high attention to detail and quality of work.

Follow through on commitments, meeting and exceeding targets and deadlines.

Attention to detail, fast learner, collaborative team player with a bias to action

Self-motivated and self-directed with good time management skills

Must be flexible with ability to quickly adapt to shifting priorities or project scope
