Marketing Coordinator

Del Amo Construction is hiring a Marketing Coordinator with 2+ years of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) experience and commutable to Torrance, Los Angeles.

The Marketing Coordinator is a key producer of materials that support Del Amo Construction’s business units. He/she works under the direction of the Marketing Manager and SVP of HR to write, design, and produce proposals, presentations, and other materials used to help win work and support branding and the general activities of the company. 

Responsibilities – Proposals, Requests for Qualifications, & Presentations:

  • Partners with leadership and stakeholders to design, write, and produce proposals and responds to requests for qualifications and requests for proposals.
  • Creates captivating presentation decks, brochures, and other print or digital materials for interviews and internal meetings and events.
  • Develops new materials as needed to support business development activities.
  • Understands and learns about Del Amo Construction’s portfolio of work and capabilities to better be able to story tell through visual creations.
  • Coordinates and delivers photography projects and materials per the direction of the Marketing Manager and Senior Leadership.

Responsibilities – Branding, Industry, & Social Media

  • Participates in the creation and development of communication through our brand look and compelling marketing messaging.
  • Assists with industry events and business newsletters.
  • Develops and maintains social media campaigns.
  • Identifies and proposes internal and external ideas and initiative to help promote and position the company brand.

Skills:

  • Understanding of the AEC industry is a plus, but not a must
  • Proposal experience
  • Proactive problem solving and action orientation
  • Relentlessly positive can-do attitude
  • Impeccable attention to detail
  • Proficiency with Adobe programs, especially InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator
  • Highly organized with the ability to multi-task and prioritize
  • Able to maintain poise under pressure and within tight deadlines
  • Strong written, verbal, and graphic communication and design skills to be able to create effective presentations and marketing collateral
  • Visual storytelling
  • Ability to deliver excellent customer service and to build relationships with business partners and stakeholders
