nn nn nn nn Essential Duties and Responsibilities nn nn nn nnThe Legal Marketing Assistant works as part of the Marketing team to provide a range of administrative support services to several attorneys and colleagues, including the firm’s Managing Partner, in their effort to attract and support clients.

nn nn nn nnThe position includes the following principal responsibilities:nn nn n nn nn Marketing: nn nn
· Assist with designing and creating email announcements and invitations for eventsnn nn
· Assist with drafting: holiday cards, brochures, etc.

· Edit biographies in the Marketing folder and on the website when instructed tonn nn nn nn Events nn nn
· Research new opportunities for the firm to enhance its marketing efforts including speaking engagements, sponsoring conferences, etc.nn nn
· Maintain spreadsheets of all firm’s events and participations nn nn
· Draft emails (mass and individual) to set up meetings, and invite guests to eventsnn nn
· Assist with event and webinar planning; including maintaining RSVP lists, organizing vendor and attendee information and morenn nn
· Follow up post-event and meetings for event summaries nn nn nn nn Social Media nn nn
· Assist with creating and publishing content for the firm’s social media pagenn nn
· Support individual attorneys and their assistants with social media coordinationnn nn
· Assist with developing targeted marketing materials and content, including brochures, one pagers, internal and external newsletters, and videosnn nn
· Collaborate with Human Resources and Operations on special projects such as trainings, staff meetings, and new hire announcementsnn nn nn nn Administrative: nn nn
· Coordinate and optimize multiple calendars, schedule meetings nn nn
· Assist with administrative management: assemble requests for proposalsnn nn
· Record managing partner’s email dictations and present him with written draftsnn nn
· Assist in the process of renewing, applying, and registering dates for events and associates, and facilitate the process of applying on behalf of firmnn nn
· Follow up with other Assistants to ensure attorneys have registered, and booked travel, for upcoming marketing eventsnn nn
· Manage Marketing folder; ensure documents are properly labelled and stored in proper subfoldersnn nn nn nn Qualifications: nn nn
· Bachelor’s degree from an accredited 4 year college or universitynn nn
· Two years of marketing experiencenn nn
· Some experience or a strong interest in the legal industry is highly preferrednn nn
· Familiarity with and proficiency on LinkedInnn nn
· Familiarity with and proficiency in an email databasenn nn
· Demonstrated good judgmentnn nn
· Proficient computer skills using Microsoft Office Suitenn nn nn nn Required Skills: nn nn
