Head of Product Marketing

The product marketing organization develops Acxioms go-to-market product positioning, value propositions and narratives for the companys comprehensive portfolio of data, identity, data management and analytics suite of offerings.

We are looking for a leader to build and deliver the market-driven messaging, packaging and positioning of our products and future offerings working closely with our product organization and sales.

They will play a key role in evangelizing our product strategy both internally and externally and will be looked at as the leader for our product messages and strategies across the full portfolio.

The Head of Product Marketing will lead both individual product marketing success as well as ensure our cross-portfolio story, messaging and positioning is cohesive and connects with the market.

This person will manage a team of dedicated product marketers, each responsible for a set of products, and establish a framework of high clarity and collaboration across a team full of interdependencies.

The leader will ensure the team delivers high-caliber internal and external marketing materials and assets that tell extraordinary product stories and articulate the value and differentiation of the Acxiom product suite.

Responsibilities: Plan, build and implement a detailed product marketing domain expertise, ensuring teams adhere to the best practices framework and strategy for our full product portfolio supporting both short
– and long-term growth plans.

Support the creation and rollout of new product developments through market-driven messaging, pitch assets, positioning strategies, value proposition and differentiators articulation.

Act proactively as the executive sponsor for clients, including bringing the voice of the client to informing messaging, partner with demand generation and growth marketing teams for core messaging and other relevant activities.

Model and drive the standardized framework and process of operating across the entire team, ensuring repeated and continued success in all launches.

This includes product lifecycle programs, education platforms for external partners, etc.

Develop commercial enablement, pitch assets and sales collaterals to support new product launches and build and maintain standard sales toolkit materials for existing offerings.

Drive product naming strategies in partnership with the product organization Partner closely with the growth marketing go-to-market teams to ensure timely, clear and cohesive strategic alignment across all go-to-market initiatives and deliverables to ensure program strategies align with product strategy and revenue goals.

Create high-impact buyer stage-level product content and assets by persona that will fuel go-to-market campaign and sales account engagement strategies.

Partner with growth and event marketing teams to define strategies to promote our products by buying stage and persona.

Work in tight alignment with Acxiom leadership including product leaders and VPs, marketing leadership, sales leadership, VP of partnerships, and finance.

Maintain marketing program plans and launch plans with a financial approach ensuring our resources and programs align with the strategic goals of the products and portfolio.

Skills and Experience: REQUIRED Bachelors degree with 8-12 years product marketing experience in the data and tech space Experience working in the martech/adtech ecosystem at digital agencies and marketing services companies, providing marketing support across data, analytics and/or marketing technology solutions Serve in a cross-portfolio product marketing role with experience crafting cross-portfolio product and solution stories and strategies Excellent verbal and written communication skills with writing samples provided Ability to drive innovative thinking to produce strong product messaging Strategic thinking, cross-portfolio management Excellent cross-team and cross-functional collaboration with the ability to work independently Ability to thrive and adapt in a fast-paced environment with high expectations Preferred B2B product marketing experience with a masters degree in business or marketing, MBA or executive course work Experience leading product marketing teams Pragmatic marketing and institute certification a plus Product management experience a bonus Experience across full marketing lifecycle and marketing processes including product marketing, marketing strategy, campaign planning, digital marketing, and execution What will set candidates apart: Proactively establish relationships, absorbing new information quickly and collaborate across multiple teams to bring together the vital resources to achieve project goals Communicate ideas simply, succinctly, and accurately Generate creative launches, training, and content Move between strategy and hands-on easily.
