Our client is looking for a talented Email Marketing Specialist for a temp-to-hire, fully remote opportunity!
This execution-orientated role is responsible for guiding and creating the email automation flow and positioning of assets that support the delivery of email campaigns as well as configuring full Salesforce integrations including requirements gathering, testing, documentation, and implementation.
The ideal individual is able to set up and update HTML in both emails and landing pages and configure complex campaigns in the Oracle Eloqua platform (OR salesforce marketing cloud), run HTML testing in Litmus to ensure the emails appear/render as desired, and ultimately facilitate email deployment.
Email Marketing Specialist Responsibilities
Works with business partner(s) and other team members to manage campaign timelines to ensure timely completion of campaigns.
Manages Campaign Quality, this includes high-quality planning, quality assurance, and quality control.
Proactively looks for errors and performs end-to-end campaign testing.
Assists with documenting key campaign processes.
Develops standards for data quality in the context of campaign execution.
Recommends and coordinates efforts to improve data quality and monitoring for campaigns to allow for successful email delivery.
Maintains compliance with all company and regulatory requirements for privacy and data security.
Measure and report on the impact of marketing campaigns.
Provides consultation to project teams within Marketing and other divisions as well as with IT to ensure the effectiveness of data transfers, both inbound and outbound, between Eloqua and Salesforce.
Provides leadership in ensuring that business processes and the use of data for campaigns are seamlessly integrated and consistent.
Works with project teams to identify and evaluate workflow options and assess issues and risks for campaigns; identifies risks and deviations from the vision for various approaches.
Email Marketing Specialist Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree with a preferred focus of Marketing, Business, or Computer Science
3-5 years of B2B campaign execution experience; healthcare, consumer goods, or services industry experience a plus.
Extensive experience with using the Oracle Eloqua platform, Salesforce Marketing Cloud would also suffice
HTML coding and testing experience required
Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, rapidly changing, team-based environment
Must balance high-priority, long-term projects with short-term, immediate deadlines.
Ability to foster collaboration, value others’ perspectives, and gain support and buy-in for organizational efforts.
Excellent oral and written communications skills
Proven ability to function in a heavily matrixed environment.
Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office products (particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
Ability to influence peers and key decision-makers
Ability to collaborate with different stakeholders from both IT and Business
Experience exporting campaign metrics via API a plus
