JOB DESCRIPTION: Brand Marketing Internship
SUMMARY:
PICTURESTART is seeking a Part-Time intern for Summer 2023. Our intern will have hands-on opportunities to learn and immerse themselves in day-to-day creative and marketing activities, focusing on assisting with and creating social media posts. Additionally, interns will gain Office Operations experience and will have the ability to network and be mentored by a company Executive. The ideal candidate is excited to learn about how to build a community at a quickly growing media company, loves spending time on TikTok and Instagram, has strong attention to detail, and a positive attitude. This is a great opportunity for someone who is interested in entertainment, loves TV and Film and is eager to learn about branding at a fast-growing company. This is a paid internship, to start May 29. Ideally the intern is based in Los Angeles with access to a vehicle.
FULL JOB DESCRIPTION:
PICTURESTART is looking for a Part-Time intern. Position to start May 29. Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Assist with social media content creation and curation
- Write newsletter recommendations
- Assist with additional marketing and digital projects, as needed
- Stay abreast of trends in social and digital storytelling, in the entertainment space
- Front Desk coverage
- Help with variety of office tasks
ABOUT THE INTERNSHIP:
This is a great opportunity for someone who is interested in entertainment, loves TV and Film and is eager to learn about the industry in a fast growing company

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Current college students or recent graduates
- Excellent analytical and written skills
- An innate understanding of TikTok, Instagram, and email marketing and content creation
- Familiarity with Google workplace (sheets, docs, etc.)
- Exhibit a “no task too big or small” attitude and a sense of humor
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States

PS is currently in post production on a variety of projects, including SWEETHEARTS starring Kiernan Shipka and Nico Hiraga, directed by Jordan Weiss; THEATER CAMP starring Ben Platt, Molly Gordon, Noah Galvin, and Jimmy Tatro, directed by Molly Gordon and Nick Lieberman; raunchy comedy STRAYS voiced by Will Ferrell and Jamie Foxx, and directed by Josh Greenbaum; and the ambitious video game adaptation BORDERLANDS starring Cate Blanchett, Kevin Hart, Jamie Lee Curtis and Jack Black and directed by Eli Roth. On the TV side, PICTURESTART’s first series GREASE: RISE OF THE PINK LADIES is set to premiere on Paramount+ on April 6, 2023.
