Job Description SummaryJob DescriptionRole Summary/PurposeWe are looking for a AI Partnerships Business Manager to serve as the focal point for all business interactions with the ever-growing healthcare AI 3rd party and start-up community.
This person will be accountable for prospecting for AI partnership opportunities and be accountable for a series of key on-boarding activities including contracting and negotiation, licensing structure development, and pricing.
A key facet of the position will be evangelizing the GEHC AI Ecosystem story so as to attract strategic external software developer partners at a global level and managing the business relationship with them through the major steps toward initial commercialization as well as related post market-launch interactions.
This individual must demonstrate clear strategic thinking, a strong capability to work cross-functionally across organizations, and an aptitude for driving business development activities that help serve GEHC and its partners with what matters most, satisfied customers and healthier patients.In this role, there will be an expectation of operating under your own direction, making your own decisions, and often working in a sometimes-ambiguous environment.
In addition, this individual will work primarily externally with external software developer partners, but will also interface with internal GE software product and engineering teams to deliver high quality software and artificial intelligence solutions in a fast-paced, challenging, and creative environment.Responsibilities Deliver the strategic and P&L expectations of the Edison AI external rollout to key centers of innovation Control all business interaction aspects with external software developer partners with a heavy focus on contracting and negotiation.
Create licensing models and pricing based on customer demands and regional customization Curate, support, and grow an exceptional community of global partners Knowledge of the healthcare market and understanding of the healthcare AI industry.
Work closely with product and marketing teams to ensure commercial viability of all developed solutions Work with customer engagement, product management, and technical leads to ensure product vision utilizing external partners’ software is achieved.
Develop and manage backlog of external partners to ensure a healthy funnel of AI solutions is available for potential business engagement.
Participate and lead with cross functional teams meetings/updates and contributing to dashboards displaying progress metrics for the program.
Lead and drive process change and improvement Foresee risks and create risk management solutions as appropriate Correctly represent the urgency of issues and communicate and escalate issues appropriately Proactively capture, track and drive all issues to closure Regularly communicate the project status stakeholders and customersQualifications / Requirements BS in Business Administration or equivalent.
MBA is desirable.
8 years experience in Business Development for software products Strong commercial background and experience in driving, negotiating, and closing business/partnership agreements.
Preferred: Prior experience in Healthcare, either on the provider side or in the med-tech or healthcare IT space.
