Food Service/Dietary Worker

Food service workers within healthcare institutions are essential in the daily upkeep and services rendered to patients at the facilities.

They perform direct or indirect patient care services such as: Preparing food trays and serving at patient meal times Delivering and collecting patient dining trays and return trays for cleanup Puts away weekly supply deliveries, stocks unit pantries according to guidelines Serving customers in a fast, efficient and friendly manner Complying with relevant safety, hygiene and service standards and procedures Requirements: 1-year prior food service experience High School Diploma or GED Basic computer literacy Experience in a healthcare facility desirable
