Warehouse Driver & Recieving

Action Wine Spirits is a locally owned wine distributor, delivering to restaurants, hotels and retailers throughout Phoenix Metro as well as northern and southern Arizona.

This position delivers larger orders to retail clients throughout the valley as well as in the warehouse organizing inventory and pulling orders accurately.

APPLICANTS NEED TO HAVE EXPERIENCE DRIVING REFRIGERATED VANS AND BOX TRUCKS UP TO 26′ EXPEREINCE & QUALIFICATIONS: 19 years or older Clean driving record Unexpired car insurance Have a license for at least 3 years High School or higher reading, writing and mathematical skills Warehouse experience preferred Experience driving trucks up to 26′ Ability to lift and move 60 pounds Ability to work in an environment that is physically demanding, requiring bending, lifting, stooping, carrying heavy objects, pushing, pulling, long hours on feet and some temperature extremes when unloading orders during deliveries Ability to understand and execute written and oral policies and procedures Forklift experience preferred but not required Ability to work professionally in a team setting Ability to follow directions Excellent communication and customer services skills WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT TO DO: Pull orders accurately based on invoice information Load and organize orders on trucks for specified routes Unload shipments received by warehouse into assigned areas Help clean warehouse for both organization and safety reasons Act as a professional representative for Action Wine and interact with all clients in a manner that represents the company in a positive manner and encourages repeat business Deliver invoiced items to accounts on time and per any special instructions Check product to invoice for accurate product delivery Check vehicles for basic maintenance needs, and fill gas as needed Maintain a clean driving record.

Work effectively as a member of a team and establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with employees, suppliers, customers.

This position requires a valid Arizona Driver’s license, clean drivers license and unexpired insurance.

This position is based on a minimum of 40 hours of work per week in office, warehouse or out in the field.

Job Type: Full-time Pay: $35,000.00
– $39,000.00 per year Benefits: Health insurance Paid time off Schedule: 10 hour shift 8 hour shift Monday to Friday COVID-19 considerations: First round interviews will be over the phone.

Application Question(s): Position requires lifting cases of about 40 pounds throughout the day.

Loading and unloading orders, picking orders from shelves to include using step ladders.
