About this role

We’re looking for an experienced user researcher to join our small, yet mighty product design team.

A big part of your role will be to listen to our users, gather insights, and translate that into valuable information.

As a creative problem solver, you have expertise in the various UX research methods and love to dive into the details.

In this role, you’ll be collaborating heavily with our product and content designers, helping to deliver an accessible, intuitive, and innovative experience.

On the day-to-day, you’ll be:

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify research topics
  • Identifying meaningful, data-driven insights of our core audience through primary user research
  • Evaluating quantitative and qualitative research
  • Effectively communicate findings to the product team in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment
  • Presenting insights to team members to influence decision-making
  • Conducting brainstorming sessions with the product team
  • Compiling research findings using statistical analysis (i.e.

    descriptive statistics, multivariate data visualization, multivariate regression, bootstrap methods, logs analytics, and text analytics)

Required Skills

  • 5+ years of user research experience, preferably with an e-commerce SaaS/PaaS company
  • Bachelor’s or MS in a human behavior related field (or equivalent certification or work experience)
  • Strong research, analysis, and communication skills
  • A strong desire for creative problem solving
  • Experience writing thorough research plans with clear objectives
  • Experience writing user research screeners and discussion guides
  • Experience with recruiting users to participate in research studies
  • Nice to have: Experience with Dovetail and Maze
  • Nice to have: Experience in R, or Python for statistical analysis
