Postdoctoral Scientist – Wolf Lab – Inflammatory Diseases & Microbiome Research

Principal Investigator, Andrea Wolf, PhD is looking for a Postdoctoral Scientist to join her team!

The Inflammatory Bowel and Immunobiology Research Institute (IBIRI) is a multidisciplinary basic, translational and clinical research program devoted to discovering the causes of inflammatory bowel disease with the goal of improved treatment approaches and prevention. The lab of Dr. Andrea Wolf is seeking a highly motivated Research Postdoctoral Scientist interested in the innate inflammatory responses of myeloid cells to join the Department of Biomedical Sciences and IBIRI!

Dr. Wolf’s lab research focuses on the cellular mechanisms that control the innate inflammatory responses of myeloid phagocytes to bacterial and fungal infections. Recent research has begun to explore the interaction between glycolytic metabolism and the inflammatory responses of myeloid cells sensing the sugars in the cell wall of Gram-positive bacteria. We are looking for Postdoctoral Scientists eager for the challenges of examining the interactions between metabolism, immunity, and infection.
