– $10,400 monthly Position Description: The UCLA Technology Development Group serves as a campuswide gateway to Innovation, Research and Entrepreneurship.
Our mission is to promote UCLA innovation, research, teaching and entrepreneurship to benefit society; create economic value to support UCLA’s scholarly and educational missions and the State of California; and lead UCLA’s research community to bring innovation to market.
As a member of the TDG team, the Industry Research and Material Transfer Associate provides a wide-range of services related to research programs funded by industry, or supported by transfer of research materials.
These services include negotiating basic research contracts, providing on-going administrative management support during the term of a contract, facilitating the close-out of such contracts, and providing support to Industry Research Officer.
Incumbent must master a wide range of complex operational and administrative matters related to the review, negotiation, and processing of research contracts; and support the Industry Research and Material Transfer Officers, Assistant Director and Director with the same.
Must serve as a point of contact for department administrative personnel and faculty members in a proactive and exceedingly professional manner.
Must be familiar with and maintain University and campus academic policies and administrative standards.
