Position Summary: Training to help develop the academic knowledge and research fundamentals, teaching expertise and administrative experience necessary to be an exemplary researcher.

Perform laboratory work and conduct research activities independently or in collaboration with the Principal Investigator.

Publish results in scientific manuscripts and research publications.

Participate in seminars, meetings, trainings and other educational sessions.

Postgraduate track record of research productivity such as publications, fellowship awards or other academic achievements.

Minimum Qualifications: The ability to demonstrate depth of knowledge and skill in a technical area relating to retinal development and gene correction mechanisms, including but not limited to modeling development and gene correction#in vitro and in animals, evaluating protein,#RNA or DNA expression or modifications, testing therapeutic targets or approaches.

Possesses, acquires, and maintains the technical/professional expertise required to do the job effectively.

Exposure to and/or experience in research in a healthcare environment preferred.

Education/Licensure/Certifications: Doctoral degree; MD and/or PhD, or equivalent doctoral degree.Work That Matters
