Web Developer

Duties
Work with stakeholders to complete joint projects and programs within compressed durations and deadlines
Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g.

responsiveness, accessibility, ease of use, etc.)
Create digital use imagery, primarily for social media and websites using industry standard software
Illustrate design ideas using wireframes, process flows and sitemaps of proposed webpages for emerging programs
Ensure that web pages are in ADA accessibility compliance and is consistent with goals and objectives
Integrate data from various back end services and databases
Deliverables
Creation, maintenance, and content development for EWDD and WDB websites.
Gather and evaluate user requirements from clients, users & stakeholders
Build effective, intuitive site and page navigation
Work with graphic designer to promote critical programs
Design graphic user interface elements, such as menus, modules and widgets
Ensure final web pages are visually appealing, programmatically correct, on-brand and meet all client/stakeholder requirements under tight deadlines
Required Skills
4+ years’ experience working with website and graphic design using Content Management Systems (CMS), HTML5, CSS and SCSS, and PHP
Strong background using Adobe Creative Suite applications, UI/UX Web User Interface Design, and Security Principles
Strong visual and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate website features, functionality, and design plans
Preferred Skills:
Background in JavaScript, JQuery, Gantry5, Web Programming, Object-Oriented Design, Web Services (REST/SOAP), Multimedia Content Development and MySQL
Working Arrangement:
A remote work or hybrid work model may be available; however you will be required to be available to go onsite in downtown Los Angeles.
You must be available for direct employment with Argus Associates, Inc.

– $60.00 per hour
