This position will work with various members of the organization in creating a security framework and will guide the teams on best AWS best practice, help perform tools reviews, and manage cost.

The candidate will be responsible in working with an MSP.

This position will be responsible to ensure teams are following the proper security standards and work with the MSP and AWS to ensure well architected reviews are done.Primary Functions:Design, build and implement enterprise class cloud secure solutions for a development, staging and production environment.Identify design gaps in existing and proposed architectures and recommend changes or enhancements.Serve as a leader in ensuring AWS Security best practices are implemented in the Access Corp Organization.

This position will work with various members of the organization in creating a security framework and research next generation tools and technologies.Propose and Build standards and tools that help engineers to effective use of infrastructure.Configure and manage our app defined networking capabilities including VPCs, security groups, network ACLs, and route tablesContribute and collaborate with other Cloud team members across the security programs, Security Incident Response, Data Protection and SOC Engineering.Providing IT Systems Engineering support on a wide range of technologies, including Certificate Services, DHCP, DNS, Active Directory, Group Policies and Microsoft Windows Operating Systems.Secondary Functions:Actively contribute to ongoing process improvementKnow and understand defined role in the Company Disaster Recovery PlanFully support and promote company approved products, services, and policesNotify direct supervisor of any issues related to job functionOther Responsibilities:Comply with all company policies and proceduresOther duties as assigned by SupervisorEducation and Years of Experience:Bachelor’s in computer science or related field3 years of AWS experienceAWS certification in either Certified Architecture or Security is preferred.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Expertise in AWS cloud architecture best practices and AWS security tools including those applicable to Control Tower, Security Groups, VPCs, Firewall Manager, SSM, WAF, Shield Advanced, and AWS Security Hub, etc.Strong Experience in creating WAF rules, in addition, automating detection and resolution of various attacks.Strong understanding of OWASP top ten.Strong understanding of software architecture, including APIs, and Web Infrastructure.Familiarity with industry security frameworks such as NIST and standards such as, ISO27001, HiTrust, HIPAA, and SOC II Type II.Experience in cybersecurity engineering with skills such as Asset Protection, API Security, Incident Response, or Network SecurityAbility to communicate with technical leaders and Developers.Physical Requirements (lifting, etc.):Periodic lifting to 25 poundsSitting for long periods of timeDigital dexterity and hand/eye coordination in operation of office equipmentAbility to speak to and hear end-users via phone or in personPreferred Qualifications:AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate or AWS Certified SysOps Administrator Associate or AWS Certified Developer AssociateProvable experience with and understanding of core AWS services (such as EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, Route53, RDS, Lambda, CloudFormation, CloudFront, GuardDuty, CloudWatch, Direct Connect, Systems Manager, AWS Config, WAF.
