Strategic Account Manager – Software Sales

Our client is a world leader that provides communication solutions and network services. They are seeking to hire an Strategic Account Manager responsible for maintaining and growing assigned relationships within their digital technology and platforms while also promoting growth of product/services within existing strategic accounts. The role will be to work closely with the client on an ongoing basis to ensure client’s satisfaction, ensure renewal and identify upsell and cross sell opportunities.

Responsibilities:

  • Meet / exceed sales goals and quotas
  • Manage and nurture assigned sales accounts
  • Maintain client satisfaction and manage any issues/concerns, ensuring resolutions
  • Identify business opportunities within current client base; upsell and/or cross sell
  • Manage renewal and upsell sales process
  • Establish and maintain existing client relationships that ensure retention and increase business
  • Collaborate with other sales professionals and SME’s to assist with upsell, cross sells and renewals
  • Suggest new products/solutions to existing customers
  • Articulate the value proposition of solutions and products
  • Keep well-informed of industry trends, technological and process changes, new developments, services etc.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Min. 5+ years of Strategic Account Management experience within software solution sales
  • Experience closing large deals and presenting strategic solutions to C-Level, multi-departments
  • Drive maximum sales productivity, upsell
  • Responsible for sales and achieving revenue goals set by management
  • Excellent organization and time management skills
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent Relationship Management skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, CRM
  • Ability to travel as needed

Offering:

  • Base Salary $80,000 – $85,000
  • Year 1 @ plan $140,000
