Sr. Systems Engineer – Global Scope
(Direct Hire – Remote)
Responsibilities:
- Manage and deploy enterprise level systems across multiple states and countries
- Evaluate and integrate hardware, software with a keen eye for improvements and enhancements
- Responsible for Backup and Disaster Recovery planning or testing
- Manage a Windows Production environment – Windows Server 2012/2019
- Configure and manage Active Directory, Terminal Services and VDI
- Support and configure a Virtualized Infrastructure (VMware) ESXi
- Support MS SQL Server databases with the engineering team
- Support a High Performance Computing environment with large data backend systems
Experience Desired:
- Strong background in Virtualization (VMware/ ESXi/Nutanix)
- Unstructured Scale Out Data Systems (Isilon/BlueArc/Qumulo/Netapp)
- Active Directory including inter/intra platform authentication
- Microsoft Enterprise applications (DNS, Group Policies, MS DHCP, DFS)
- Linux is preferred (Debian, RHEL, Centos, and derivatives)
- Monitoring Platforms (Nagios, SolarWinds, PRTG, Grafana, Zabbix, RabbitMQ
- Experience working in a media/entertainment space is highly desired
- Work with visual effects artists is beneficial but not required
