nnThe Senior DevOps Engineer will be a part of our growing Information Technology Operations team and is responsible for creating and maintaining automation and infrastructure around build and release engineering, continuous integration, production deployments, monitoring, and alerting.nn nn n nn nnThe ideal candidate is an experienced DevOps engineer who is passionate about automation tools, enjoys building tools and setup platforms to help increase developer productivity, and has prior experience working with large-scale enterprise distributed systems.
The candidate will take ownership of the CI/CD process for all in-house developed apps from design to operations and implement systems for deployment and infrastructure readiness.
This role requires participating in agile planning and working closely with the software development team.
The incumbent must be vigilant and aware of any new security threats and will be responsible for recommending and implementing new security technologies and policies, monitoring and planning for growth, communicating and advising developers with any major changes, and updating and providing production support as needed.
nn nn n nn nn Responsibilities: nn Design and develop quality code to increase build automation and service operability Resolve complex technical issues and drive innovations to improve system availability and performance Collaborate with architects, product managers, quality and technical operations engineers using Agile development process Ensure the adherence to standards, policies, and procedures Document and complete knowledge transfer to production support Maintain CI/CD pipeline, troubleshooting, and work to improve existing the process Support the Quality Assurance and Development teams with the build and release definitions nn Qualifications: nn Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent engineering experience Strong coding skills 4+ years of experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery systems with the ability to architect the workflow 5+ years of experience in building/operating large-scale and distributed systems Experience with Azure DevOps and Cloud technologies Experience with TFSVC and Git platforms with branching and merging processes Knowledge of Windows and Virtual system administration Experience with Operating Systems: Microsoft and Linux Knowledge in network troubleshooting skills Experienced with IIS, Active Directory, DNS, Kerberos, GPO technologies Experienced with setting up SSL/TLS certs with IIS
