As a Senior Software Principal Engineer, you will be responsible for developing sophisticated systems and software to help our customers succeed.
You will:
Design and lead the effort on hardware platform development for Dell’s entire portfolio of data center and campus networking switches
Mentor team members in design collaboration, code reviews, development tools and processes
Take part in the full software development life cycle including development, test, continuous delivery and support
Be an active member of an agile team, collaboratively realizing features through development, test and delivery
Enthusiastically represent Dell in technical forums as part of Open Source communities
Deliver high quality code to Enterprise customers and the Open Source community

Heres what we are looking for with this role:
Essential Requirements
13+ years of software development experience
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Agility to adapt to technologies and processes quickly
Strong development/programming experience in Python/C/Golang
Experience with Linux kernel and/or application development
Desirable Requirements
Bachelors or masters degree in computer science or related field
Familiar with technologies like Redis, Docker, Kubernetes
