About The Department
We’re an engineering team focused on building scalable and paradigm-shifting security platforms for production systems.

What You’ll Do
The team is working on a number of large projects in 2021.
Below is a sample of initiatives:
Secrets Management –
– We’re currently using Vault as trusted execution environment, and we’re continuing to our work integrating it with other platforms PKI Infrastructure –
– We’re upgrading and improving our current PKI Infrastructure by layering it on top of Vault.
Production Access Control –
– Access to production systems are backed by exceptional requirements, minimally-permissive and time-limited Authenticated Service Mesh –
– We’re building a consistent way to manage and enforce mutual authentication and access policies on service-to-service communication
Examples Of Desirable Skills, Knowledge And Experience
Experience identifying and mitigating security issues in production services and in pre-production planning Experience working on highly distributed and scalable systems You will design, deploy, and manage tools that automate security functions and improve efficiencies throughout Cloudflare’s infrastructure.
Driving communication and consensus across teams You identify problem areas, bring multiple solutions to the table, and educate stakeholders on the possibilities.
You are well versed in application security, infrastructure security, business risk analysis and making complex business/risk trade-off recommendations and decisions.
